Money
Kwilt Money helps you see what your household can actually use after bills, planned expenses, and recurring costs. It keeps the answer connected to the categories and transactions behind it, so you can inspect what changed instead of trusting a mystery number.
Start with the money that is really available
The summary brings your plan and current activity into one view. Use it when you need a practical answer before spending, not a perfect financial dashboard.
Kwilt separates planned amounts, actual activity, and forecasts so today's answer does not pretend to be more certain than the evidence allows.
- See what remains after the commitments already in the plan.
- Open a category to understand its amount, activity, and expected need.
- Check freshness when connected account data may be behind.
Shape a plan that fits real life
Create categories for the parts of life that need room, then set or adjust the monthly amount. Kwilt shows the effect of a change before it becomes part of the plan.
Some expenses arrive monthly. Others build toward a future need. Funding rhythm, rollover, and forecast settings help the category tell the truth about how that money behaves.
Review the transactions behind the total
Connected transactions are evidence, not unquestionable truth. Open a transaction when the merchant, category, income treatment, transfer relationship, or split needs attention.
Correcting a transaction updates the plan's answer. Add a private note when it will help you remember why the choice was made.
Keep sensitive details protected
Money has its own privacy controls. When protection is enabled, Kwilt can require the device owner before showing financial details and can cover those details when the app moves into the background.
Financial account connection and current transaction availability depend on your plan, provider support, and a successful sync. If the evidence is stale or unavailable, Kwilt should say so plainly.
