Search
Search helps loose capture stay useful. You should be able to recover the important thing even when you do not remember its exact home.
Search by what you remember
Use the words you have: part of a title, a phrase from a note, the name of a goal, or the kind of action you remember doing.
You should not need to know whether something is technically an Arc, Goal, Activity, or Chapter before you search.
Why search matters
Capture-first systems only work when you can find things later. Search is what lets you add something quickly now and recover it when it matters.
If search helps you avoid creating duplicates or rebuilding the system, it is doing its job.
